Craig Laverne Burson of Bend, Oregon passed away August 17, 2008 at the age

of 54.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 1:00 pm. This memorial service will be at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Burson was born November 28, 1953 to Don Laverne Burson and ArLee Shaffer in Prineville, Oregon.

Mr. Burson was a Crook County High School graduate. He also obtained an associate’s degree in management from Central Oregon Community College. He worked for Bend Millworks for 15 years and also drove a school bus for the Bend School District for eight years. Mr. Burson enjoyed music, which was the love of his life, boating, fishing, hunting, gambling and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of the Westside Church in Bend, and the LDS church in Prineville.

Mr. Burson is survived by a daughter, Amber Lynn Burson and her husband, Siraj Mohammad Shaik of Tigard; sons, Samuel Bradley Burson of Bend; Peter Joseph Burson of Bend; a sister, Geri Lynn and her husband Jerry George of Prineville; a brother, Brad Burson and his wife Mary of Brainerd, MN; step parents, Monty and Phyllis Bales of Bend; past wives, Corrina Harris; Genie Kelly; Linda Burlson and Susan Dean; grandchildren, Vivianne; Thomas; Salmah and Sajid. Many nephews and nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Burson was preceded in death by his parents.
