COTTAGE GROVE — A man featured on “America’s Most Wanted” for allegedly breaking into the home of a former Massachusetts school teacher and attacking her has been arrested after he was spotted at an Oregon grocery store.

The Oregon State Police say Michael Bresnahan, 36, was arrested Monday night after he tried to outrun police along a railroad track in Cottage Grove.

Bresnahan is accused of breaking into the home of a 61-year-old woman in Winchendon, Mass., and sexually assaulting her last August.

Viewers of the popular television show spotted Bresnahan allegedly stealing beer at a grocery store. Security camera footage confirmed it was the man U.S. marshals and the Massachusetts State Police had been tracking for nearly a year.
