Summit High School will celebrate the opening of its new outdoor athletic facility with a tailgate party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday before the Storm’s home football opener against North Eugene. Hot dog and hamburger meals will be available for $5. At halftime of the football game, Summit will honor Bend-La Pine Schools officials that helped bring the stadium and eight-lane track to fruition.
