Youth authority changes leadership

SALEM — The Oregon Youth Authority has named new superintendents to lead three state-run youth correctional facilities.
The changes were announced Friday by Bobby Mink, the authority’s interim director.
Mink took over at the request of Gov. Ted Kulongoski after director Robert Jester announced his resignation effective Oct. 1.
Under the changes, Mike Riggan will take over the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn. Riggan is acting superintendent of the Hillcrest Youth Correctional Facility in Salem,
He will be replaced at Hillcrest by Tony Gregg, superintendent of the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility in Southern Oregon.
Former assistant prison superintendent Lory Humbert was named to lead the Oak Creek Youth Correctional Facility in Albany and the nearby Corvallis House transitional facility, which serve female youth offenders.
