Central Oregon customers can design boots like these from Tres Outlaws Boot Co.

Central Oregonians will have the opportunity to put art on their cowboy boots, as Bend Western store Desperado hosts a cowboy boot trunk show with Tres Outlaws Boot Co.

The show is 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 17, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at Desperado in the Old Mill District.

Customers can design any cowboy boot they like, and Tres Outlaws can make it, said Desperado owner Joanne Sunnarborg.

The boots for men and women are handcrafted with leather toe boxes and hand-pegged soles and can be embellished with sterling silver, hand-painted angels or cowboys, beading, crystal studs and top stitching.

These boots aren’t cheap: They start from $600 and up, according to Sunnarborg.
