BendBroadband announced Tuesday it is now offering high-speed Internet and phone service to businesses in Prineville. Due to franchise agreements already in existence in Prineville, BendBroadband can’t offer cable television service to the area, said company spokeswoman Molly Renner. But the Internet and phone service — the phone service operates over the company’s Internet lines — is based on a fiber-optic network that provides fast and reliable connections, according to a company news release.

BendBroadband already serves business customers in Bend, Redmond and Sisters.
