The Humane Society of Central Oregon plans a grand opening for its second Bend thrift store location from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

The store, called Paws and Shop, is located at the Bend Factory Outlets, located at 61334 S. U.S. Highway 97 in Bend.

In addition to items such as furniture and holiday decor, the store also will have animals available for adoption today. Refreshments will be served. The new store joins the Humane Society’s original thrift store, located at 500 N.E. Greenwood Ave., in Bend. Items for donation should still be delivered to the Greenwood Avenue store.

The new store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
