Redmond is alive with ‘The Sound of Music’

The Pythian Theater will perform the family-friendly musical “The Sound of Music” over two weekends in December at Redmond High School, 675 S.W. Rimrock Way.
With Julie Tope as Maria, Nancy Engebretson, as Mother Abbess, and Jason Stein, as Captain Georg Von Trapp, the famed Rogers and Hammerstein musical will be in performance Dec. 12-14 and 19-21. Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with matinees at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors 60 and older as well as students 13 and older. Tickets for children 12 and younger are $10.
