Sept. 2, 1959 – Nov. 19, 2008

Tony Sustare, loving husband, father, son and brother passed away November 19, 2008. Born Anthony Christian Sustare on September 2, 1959, in Newport News, Virginia. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Teri Sustare; son, Tyler Sustare and daughter, Kim Sustare. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Jenson Sustare; brothers, Allen Sustare, John Sustare, Andy Sustare and sisters, Kathy Diehl, Jane Racz, Beverly Sustare and Nancy Hissem, all living in Virginia and New York.

Tony moved to Oregon because of his passion for the outdoors where he enjoyed years of bow hunting, fly fishing, camping and truly appreciating the beauty of nature.

Tony’s love for the game of baseball was an inspiration to the many young people he coached for over 10 years. Tony’s ability to help all players to never quit believing in themselves was a gift he shared willingly.

Tony loved listening to country music, laughter of his family and especially following and supporting his children traveling all over the northwest pursuing their sporting aspirations.

A service will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene in Bend.
