James Michael Webb, 55, entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2008 in Soldotna, Alaska. Mike was born on July 27, 1953 in Medford, Oregon to James L. and Wanda Webb. His surviving loved ones include his wife, Valarie; his three children: Rae (T.J.) Siebold, Luke (Ivy) Webb, Christina Webb; grandchildren: Noah and Autumn Siebold; his mother, Wanda Webb; two sisters, Gloria (Lynn) Davis, Cathy (Gary) Moore; and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mike graduated with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Texas at Tyler. Mike and Valarie lived in Manchester for almost 22 years before relocating to Soldotna, Alaska in March of 2008. He was employed by Central Peninsula Hospital as director of information systems. Mike and Valarie were members of Forest Mill United Methodist Church in Manchester, but most recently attended Soldotna Bible Chapel. Mike’s hobbies included fishing, reading and genealogy, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral ceremony will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Redmond on Thursday, December 4 at 2:30 p.m., followed by a short graveside service at Redmond Memorial Cemetery. The family wishes that any memorial donations be given to the Benevolence Fund here at Highland Baptist Church.
