PORTLAND — A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the rape and sexual abuse of two children, as well as sharing photos of them on the internet.

Mark Allyn Hoffman pleaded guilty to sex-related charges Thursday in Multnomah County Circuit Court. His charges include rape and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct.

Hoffman and his wife, Katherine Dawn Hoffman, were indicted last year.

Katherine Hoffman pleaded guilty to encouraging child sexual abuse and criminal mistreatment.

She has been sentenced to three years’ probation for the criminal mistreatment convictions and awaits sentencing on the other charges.
