A steer wrestling school featuring instruction by noted local rodeo cowboy Sam Willis takes place this weekend in Bend.

The school is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, starting at 8 a.m. both days, at Robertson Ranch, 20350 Tumalo Road. The event will take place indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather.

Tuition for the school is $300. Rental of a steer wrestling horse will be available for $50, and hazers will be available for $25. Instruction will include video playback and review.

Peewee and junior rodeo kids are welcome at discounted prices. Spectators are welcome at no charge.
