Lourene E. (Bateson) Selander, a resident of Bend, passed away March 4, 2009 at the age of 74. She was born June 24, 1934 in Portland, Oregon to parents, Herbert and Frances Bateson. Private family services will be held. Lourene

enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting and spending time with family.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Selander of Milwaukie, OR, Matthew Selander of Sherwood, OR; and one daughter, Brenda Brown of Bend. Also surviving are four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Grant Bateson.
