Tons of music to be consumed this week. Here’s more:
• Local metal outfit Bald Eagle Shirt is done with a new CD, and they’re celebrating with a show Saturday at Bend’s Community Center (1036 NE Fifth St., Bend).
Bald Eagle Shirt plays heavy metal that falls somewhere in the death/thrash/grind family. Hear a few songs at www.myspace .com/baldeagleshirt.
Things will kick off around 6:30 p.m. and tickets cost $6 at the door and $5 in advance at www.myspace.com/animalshirt productions. Other bands on the bill include Invisible Giants, In the Advent of Horror, Never Heard The Shot and Thorns of Creation .
• A trio of talented female songwriters will perform tonight at Sisters Art Works (204 W. Adams St., Sisters).
Co-headlining the show will be singer-songwriters Meg Hutchinson and Caroline Herring . Both women play well-crafted folk music and are past performers at the Sisters Folk Festival.
Opening the show is Laura Curtis , a Sisters High School senior and member of the school’s Americana Project program.
The show will start at 7 p.m., doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $15 and are available at the door. Seating is limited, so don’t dawdle.

• The Bendistillery Martini Bar (850 N.W. Brooks St., Bend) will host an interesting night of music on Monday as the Thumbprint Collective takes over the downtown bar.
The collective promises “a living experiment in digital audio” featuring local DJs Sicilian, Life Chaotic and Typologic, plus other special guests. We’re talking independent electronic music here, from house to breakbeats to trip-hop and beyond.
Visit www.myspace.com/thumbprintrecordings to check ’em out, and be sure to click through to some of the individual DJs on the “friends” list.
The music will get started at about 9:30 p.m., and there’s no cover.
