Driver crashes into Tumalo restaurant

Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited a Bend woman after she accidentally drove her car onto the porch of the Tumalo Feed Company on Saturday night and knocked down the porch overhang on the west side of the building.
According to a Sheriff’s Office news release, Gail Wickman drove her 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon onto the porch of the restaurant on U.S. Highway 20 near Bailey Road in Tumalo around 7 p.m. No one was injured in the incident, but Wickman was cited for reckless driving and reckless endangering.
Wickman’s vehicle was not drivable after the crash. Officials did not provide additional information on how the accident occurred.
