Downtown Bend’s Townshend’s Tea Co. is now on sale at Whole Foods Market in Bend.

Whole Foods began selling a selection of loose-leaf tea from the Portland-based company this spring, carrying four kinds of tea: Bao Zhong, Soaring Crane, Superberry and Crème de la Earl Grey.

The teas retail for $9.99 to $12.79 and are displayed next to another Central Oregon product, mate from Santiago’s Maté Co., which retails for $12 to $15 and is based in Redmond.

Townshend’s Tea Co. offers more than 100 varieties of tea, tea lattes and chai, including bubble tea and house-brewed kombucha.
