The Central Oregon Symphony Association is hosting free concerts on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9-11.

These will be the symphony’s final concerts of the season, featuring guest piano soloist Alexander Ghindin, who will play Prokofiev’s Concerto No. 3 for Piano. The program also includes Beethoven’s Overture to the “Creatures of Prometheus” and Dvorák’s Symphony No. 7.

The concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. May 9, 2 p.m. May 10 and 7:30 p.m. May 11 at the Bend High School auditorium, 230 N.E. Sixth St.

The concerts are free, but tickets are required.
