• Outlaw lacrosse tourney begins today: The Sisters Annual Lacrosse Invitational (SALI) will be held today through Sunday in Sisters. Now in its fourth year, SALI is expecting 44 teams from around the Pacific Northwest. There will be high school varsity, junior varsity, junior high, elementary and girls divisions. Sisters, Bend, and Summit high schools’ boys teams are all scheduled to play in the tournament’s first round of games at 4 p.m. on Friday. Cost of admission is free. • Crook County hosts high school rodeo this weekend: The Tri-County Rodeo Club will host a three-day high school rodeo beginning tonight at 6:30 at the Crook County Fairgrounds in Prineville. On Saturday the main performances will be held at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday’s main performance is set for noon. Slack will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 for the entire weekend.
