Summit High School’s boys and girls track program is listed as the 12th-best combined track team in the nation in two different Dyestat.com rankings. In the DS100 Meet Scoring rankings, the top 100 schools in the country are ranked on how they would finish in a hypothetical track meet. In the Total Elites ranking, schools are awarded points for each “elite” performance they have accumulated over the 2009 season. Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, Calif., was the top school in both rankings as of Friday.
