Bom Dia has opened at 1444 N.W. College Way, in Bend. The coffee shop, owned by Bobby Grover and Beau Beach, also will serve pastries, breakfast bagels, smoothies and desserts.
Sister to Sister has opened at 365 N.E. Greenwood Ave., Suite 3, in Bend. The new secondhand shop is accepting donations and is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday
Pure Beauty Lounge has opened at 621 S.W. Evergreen Ave., in Redmond. The hair salon, owned by Alisha Carlson, offers cuts for children, men and women, as well as color treatment and styling. It also carries Sidlab Haircouture paraben-free products.
Haven Home Style , previously Haven Home, has moved to 50 S.W. Bond St., in Bend. The home design and decor company, owned by interior designer Michelle Thorstrom, will offer new lines of furnishings and accessories, such as window treatments and rugs, outdoor furniture, fountains and garden sculptures. The business also will carry work by local artists and craftsmen, and it will continue to offer interior design and home-staging services.

By joining ABC, AM-1 Steel will have access to engineering and design expertise, industry-leading technology and quality metal building products, as well as a national network of builders. AM-1 Steel has served Central Oregon with custom-engineered construction for more than 15 years.
Bend has been named a 2009 Green City by www.cars.com. Bend is ranked No. 48 out of 210 cities. The index is based on a city’s interest in going green through the use of hybrid cars. The Web site, www.cars.com, rates a city’s number of hybrid searches as a percentage of a city’s overall online car searches.
