The following recalls have been announced:

This can pose a risk of injury to the child. Bugaboo has received 121 reports of the stroller’s brakes failing. No injuries have been reported. The recalled strollers have the item code 580210 on a label on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. • About 260 Novara Trionfo 2005 bicycles , made in Taiwan and distributed by Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI). — The fork can separate from the steerer tube, possibly causing the rider to lose control and posing a fall hazard. The company has received two reports of forks separating, causing riders to fall. Injuries included a fractured clavicle, broken teeth, facial damage and head injuries. The recalled bicycles are blue and white with black forks. They have the name “Novara” printed on the bars. They were sold at REI retail stores nationwide from January 2005 through August 2006. • Nearly 40,000 pounds of ground beef products, produced by SP Provisions of Portland. — The meat may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. The Agriculture Department says the meat was produced from April 8 through May 28, and sold at retail stores and distributed to hotels, restaurants and institutions in Oregon and Washington state. The department said Wednesday it had gotten no reports of illnesses. It said sampling by the Food Safety and Inspection Service turned up the problem. The agency says the recall includes bags and patties under the Cascade Natural Beef and SP Provisions brands.
