Myron Calla Valentine, 68 of Bend, was born in Chiloquin, OR and was raised in Klamath Falls. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He eventually made his home in Eugene, prior to moving to Bend three
years ago. He had been a journeyman mechanic and was employed as a logger, truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic. He found enjoyment being a fisherman and avid hunter.
Surviving is his wife, Sandra; three sons, James, Eric and Mark; four daughters, Sylvia Garcia, Julie Corral, Dawn Cox and Tina Schmid; brother, Jerry Valentine; two sisters, Markie Dowdy and Judy Guard; 25 grandchildren, two great- grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death, were his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Deschutes Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, with private inurnment in the Aspen Garden section.
Serving the family with dignity is Deschutes Memorial Chapel of Bend.
