Bend conference lands CNBC analyst

Paul Kedrosky, an analyst for CNBC, columnist for The Street/Real Money and editor of the business blog Infectious Greed, will be the keynote speaker at the sixth annual Bend Venture Conference on Oct. 16 at the Tower Theatre. Kedrosky also is a senior fellow at the Kauffman Foundation, where he focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of risk capital. Hes also a partner with venture capital firm Ventures West, where his interests include consumer technologies, media, semiconductors and life sciences.

The Bend Venture Conference connects seed and early-stage companies with investment opportunities and typically attracts 300-plus entrepreneurs, investors and service providers. It will be accepting applications from companies seeking seed or early-stage funding in areas that include clean tech, biotech and high tech.
