Jay Leno Show ready to become star-maker

BURBANK, Calif. Jay Leno says he hopes to make stars out of young comedians featured on his new prime-time NBC series.
Leno told reporters Wednesday that the comics will contribute taped pieces for The Jay Leno Show. He said its a new way to spotlight young talent beyond traditional standup routines.
Among the segments in production: Liz Feldman teaching older people how to use Twitter and D.L. Hughley suggesting bake sales and other fundraisers for Californias fiscal woes.
The Jay Leno Show will air weekdays at 10 p.m. starting Sept. 14 with first guests Jerry Seinfeld, Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West.
