Jack in the Box makes area debut Monday

Bends new Jack in the Box restaurant will open at 6 a.m. Monday, according to the restaurants owner.

The fast-food establishment is on the site of the old Dennys Restaurant, at 805 N.E. Third St. Its the first Jack in the Box restaurant in Central Oregon and 49th in the state. The restaurants owner, Vinod Mehta of Medford, owns several Jack in the Box franchises in Southern Oregon.

The Bend Jack in the Box will be open 24 hours a day.
