Resident of Walnut Creek, CA and Camp Sherman, OR.
Jim was born in Albany, CA. April 6, 1942, and passed away peacefully at Santa Clara Kaiser hospital August 21, 2009.
He endured a number of years with congestive heart failure. This didnt stop his love for boating, motorcycling, socializing, traveling, and living life to the fullest. We will miss his gift of gab as he always knew something about everything.
Jim graduated from San Jose State with a Bachelors degree. He pursued a career in telecommunication sales and contracting. He owned a resort business known as Cold Springs in Camp Sherman, Oregon.
Jim will be missed and is survived by his loving companion, Patti Sexton and her family. He was a devoted father to Robert (Sabrina) and Heather McLean; brother to Janet Kalin (Alan); niece, Allison Young; Grandfather to Robert Gustat-McLean, and former wife and friend, Barbara Dexheimer (Bill). He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lena McLean.
A memorial service and reception will be held in celebration of Jims life on October 3, 2009, at 1 pm, in Camp Sherman, OR at the lovely Community Hall.
