Police were looking for three people Friday who robbed a 31-year-old man at a Bend motel early in the morning, according to a news release from the Bend Police Department.

The victim told police that shortly after 3 a.m., a woman he had met earlier returned to his room at the Chalet Motel, 510 S.E. Third St., to retrieve personal items she had left. When he opened the door, two men accompanying her forced their way into the room, assaulting the victim, searching his room and taking some items.

All three left together, the victim told police, but he did not know if they left on foot or in a vehicle.
