Dave L. Lent of Redmond, died at his home on Dec. 19, 2009, at the age of 69 years. He was born in Coos Bay, Oregon on Sept. 29, 1940, to parents, James L. and Velma (Leach) Lent.

On October 15, 1966, he was united in marriage to Joyce Moore in Eugene, Oregon.

Dave spent most of his working years in mill working, timber and logging industry. He moved to Redmond in 1969, from Reedsport where he grew up.

Among his hobbies were watching car racing and fishing.

Besides his wife, Joyce, he leaves 2 sons, Troy L. Lent of Redmond, and Christopher Todd Lent of Gig Harbor, WA. Brother, Gary Lent of Lexington, OR; sisters, Delores Canada of Albany, Shirley Jones of Albany, Jimi Moore Tillman of Seaside, Carol Mardock Horn of Salem, Judy Coolidge Shoop of Warrington, OR, and Joy Reyes of Portland; There are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009, at 2:00 pm, at Redmond Memorial Chapel.
