We’ve had some well-publicized new business openings in Bend recently (breadsticks, anyone?), but a few new, less-well-known shops have hung their shingles in downtown Bend.

Wabi Sabi, which sells Japanese toys and gifts, is open at 930 N.W. Brooks St., the space previously occupied by Volcano Vineyards Tasting Lounge.

Laughing Girls Studio has moved in at 130 N.W. Minnesota Ave. The shop sells antiques alongside new home decor and giftware. The studio also offers custom-plaster-wall finishes and silk-flower arrangements.

Longtime Bend gift, music and art store The Curiosity Shoppe is now open at 25 N.W. Minnesota Ave., in the same building as Thump Coffee and Karen Bandy Jewelry.
