Vickie Hrehocik, owner of Portland’s Little Indulgences Beads, will bring her entire selection of beads and semiprecious stones to Bend for a two-day sale this weekend.

Hrehocik is a direct importer from factories and manufacturers in China and India. She sells dozens of varieties of such stones as garnets, amethyst, smoky quartz, tanzanite and peridot. She sells the beads, including cubic zirconia and a large selection of pearls, mostly to jewelry-making hobbyists and those who make and sell jewelry.

The wholesale prices range from about $5 to $70 per 15-inch strand.

The sale is free to attend, and Hrehocik said sometimes people just come and browse the variety of stones. “I’ve got all of the stones labeled; it’s fun to just look at,” she said.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the river room at the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel in Bend, at 3105 OB Riley Road.
