The Deschutes Public Library system will close Oct. 18 due to staff training, according to a news release.

Branches in Bend, La Pine, Redmond, Sisters and Sunriver will be closed while staff members train. Bookmobile Services will also be closed. The libraries will reopen for normal hours on Oct. 19.
