SALEM — Alabama Gov. Bob Riley won’t be getting any Oregon crab if his state’s Auburn Tigers beat the Oregon Ducks in the BCS Championship game.

Likewise, Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski won’t be eating any Southern barbecue if his team wins college football’s biggest game on Monday.

Kulongoski said Friday there will be no friendly wager between the chief executives.

Riley is a gambling opponent who has moved to shut down electronic bingo halls. He got into some hot water a year ago when he made a bet with Florida’s governor over the Southeastern Conference championship game — and he eventually told Florida’s Charlie Crist not to send the oranges he owed.
