The regional housing authority, Housing Works, recently purchased a property in Bend that it will turn into housing for homeless families, according to a news release.

The organization purchased a fourplex with money awarded through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Once the property is renovated, Housing Works will move four homeless families into the units, and will offer them on-site support services.
