SWEET HOME — A dog was killed and a couple injured in a fire at a Sweet Home bowling alley.

The Friday morning blaze consumed the Sweet Home Lanes.

Ron and Mary Ann Rettke, both 61, survived the fire at the bowling alley they bought in 1987. The couple lived in an apartment above the bowling alley. Their Australian shepherd, Charlie, died in the fire.

The bowling alley was destroyed.
