July 13, 1940 – March 25, 2011

Richard Calhoon passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2011, in Bend Oregon. He is survived by his children, Vickie and Paul Ryan, Doug and Grace Calhoon and Dann Calhoon, and his grand- children, Dylan Calhoon, Molly Calhoon, Nicholas Ryan, Jacob Calhoon and Natalie Ryan, and his siblings Sue O’Donnell, Barbara and Ed Geraghty, and Ron and Paula Calhoon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Mary Lou Calhoon. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted fan of Jeff Gordon. He was born in Santa Monica, California; had roots in Winner, South Dakota; grew up in San Diego, California, and worked many years in Hemet, California, and Hawthorne, Nevada at the El Capitan Casino. He spent his last years in Bend, Oregon near his sister, Barbara. He was very much loved and will be missed by all his family.
