Sharon Ruth McGeachy

March 23, 1937 – May 7, 2011

Sharon passed away at Hospice House, in Bend, OR. She was born in Portland, OR, to parents, Hal and Eleanor Mclure.

She had lived in Oregon, California and Colorado. While living in Colorado, she operated a tanning and hair salon called ”Toadly Bronze”. Sharon had many friends and relatives in Colorado. Sharon loved to read novels and devoted time daily for this. She also loved spending time with her Scottish Terrier, Annie. She spent the last year living in Bend at the Quimby Street Apts., and loved all her friends there.

She is survived by her four children, William Whited, Scott Keelan, and Deborah Nielson, all of Bend, and Rod Whited of Colorado; a sister, Charlotte Baker of Woodland Park, CO; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Family wants to thank all that have loved her and had a part in her life. A celebration of life will be held July 4th in Bend. Anyone wanting to attend may contact Deborah Nielson.
