Michelle Cooper and Russell Lawson were married July 21 at Stone Wood Community in La Grande. A reception was to be held at the Lawson home Aug. 13. A second reception will be held Sept. 3 in La Pine.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Melissa Cooper of La Pine. She is a graduate of La Pine High School and a 2011 graduate of Ashworth College, where she studied medical billing. She works as a medical billing specialist.

The groom is the son of Terry Lawson, of Sandy, and Julie Johnson, of Denver. He is a 1997 graduate of Sandy Union High School. He works as a farm manager and owner.

The couple will honeymoon in Las Vegas.

They will settle in Elgin.
