PORTLAND — Portland police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run.

They say a man was hit along Southeast Foster Road on Saturday night by a vehicle that may have been a dark pickup or SUV.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name, pending notification of his family. He died at a hospital.
