Northview Hotel Group, which owns Eagle Crest Resort near Redmond and Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls, announced Tuesday that the properties’ lodges will take on the Holiday Inn Resorts brand.
Ownership will remain the same. Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte, also a Northview property, is not part of the deal.

Under Northview’s franchise-licensing agreement with England-based InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, which owns the Holiday Inn Resorts brand, guests will be able to take advantage of InterContinental rewards, such as airline miles.
Northview will pay InterContinental a small percentage of all reservation revenues, said Scott Pickert, senior vice president of Northview Oregon Resorts.
As a result of the deal, Northview expects a 25 percent increase in individual traveler visits to Eagle Crest and a 50 percent increase at Running Y, Pickert said.
“It’s our opportunity to be associated with a huge reservation and marketing system, is really what it boils down to,” Pickert said.
Northview and a subsidiary of funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management LP bought Brasada Ranch, Eagle Crest and Running Y from Klamath Falls-based window and door manufacturer Jeld-Wen in November 2010 for an undisclosed sum.
