Volunteers interested in helping Saving Grace, a local provider of services to victims of domestic violence, can sign up for a training beginning April 21.

The 40-hour training will take place over the course of three weeks on a series of Tuesday or Thursday nights and Saturdays. It is free and available to those who commit to volunteering for one year. The training will teach volunteers how to answer calls from the hotline, assist residents, work with support groups and assist at the courthouse.

The deadline to register is Tuesday.
