Insurance letters not linked to city

City of Bend water customers who have received letters about insurance for repairs or replacement of water supply lines should be aware that the city has no involvement in the letters, officials said.

If a customer’s water line breaks on their side of the meter, the customer is usually responsible for the repair and costs incurred as part of the repair. Those with questions about what repairs a homeowner may be responsible for can call 541-317-3000.
