William E. Wright of Bend, Oregon, passed away at home with family on October 6, 2012, at the age of 88. He was born in Portland, Oregon on January 29, 1924, having the honor of being the first baby born at Wilcox Memorial Hospital after its opening in 1924. His parents were Ogden M. Wright and Dolly (Parker) Wright. Bill was married to Maxine (Johnson) for 66 years. He attended Seaside High School and was proud to be a WWII Veteran. Bill served as a Navy Seabee for 3 years, two of those were overseas.

Bill and Maxine traveled for 28 years, 25 of those to Yuma Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; daughters, Renee (Mike) Schneider and Jacque (Mike) Cater; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 2 nephews and their children.
