Mid Oregon Credit Union received the first-place Dora Maxwell Award from the Credit Union National Association for its “Credit Unions Working Together” outreach efforts in the Great Drake Park Duck Race. This year, five Bend-area credit unions — Mid Oregon, Northwest Community, OnPoint, SELCO and Southern Oregon Federal — worked together with Bend Rotary Clubs to raise more than $100,000 to benefit eight youth charities.

The state-level award is presented annually and Mid Oregon Credit Union will automatically advance to the national CUNA awards competition.
