Shannon Bacon and David Meddish

Shannon Bacon and David Meddish, both of Bend, were married Aug. 25 at the couple’s residence with a reception following.

The bride is the daughter of David Bacon, of Portland, and Lori Ankersmit, of Sandpoint, Idaho. She is a 1993 graduate of Wilson High School in Portland. She works as a professional travel agent.

The groom is the son of Richard and Donna Meddish, of Bend. He is a 1986 graduate of Mountain View High School and a 1990 graduate of Oregon State University, where he studied technical journalism. He works as a game designer and writer.

The couple honeymooned in Yellowstone National Park.

They will settle in Bend.
