Romney’s a chameleon

After watching all three presidential debates, you could conclude that it is easy to be Mitt Romney. You wake up in one of your several multimillion-dollar residences, greet your adoring wife, choose one of your expensive executive suits, don your chameleon costume and go to work.
Chameleon, you say? That’s the easy part.
If President Obama’s policies appeal to women voters, you court women that day. If Obama’s policies are sensitive to the needs of Hispanics, you send your Spanish-speaking son to appear in political ads that day. If President Obama’s health care plan appeals to parents of young adults, you try to scare seniors, claiming he’ll cut Medicare that day. If President Obama’s policies have been successful on foreign issues, you agree with him more than you disagree with him that day. It goes on and on. Chameleons change their color to adapt to their environment every day. Chameleons never become anything else and you never see chameleons coming. Sound familiar? Who is really leading from behind?
No chameleons for me. I voted for President Obama today! You could, too, and secure a better future for America.
