Matt Appleby and Tyson Staab have joined BBT Architects in Bend. Appleby is a project architect and previously worked for Steele Associates, Stricker Cato Murphy Architects and Koppe Wagner Architects. He has more than 17 years of architectural experience, has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Montana State University and is a licensed architect in Oregon and Washington. Appleby’s responsibilities will include leading projects from design through construction. Staab is joining BBT as an intern. He has more than seven years of experience in the architecture field and previously worked as an apprentice at MBH Architects. Staab’s responsibilities will include 3D renderings and technical support.

Kathy Bailey-Nelson has joined Hunter Properties in Bend as a broker. Bailey-Nelson has experience in real estate, staging and design and assisting clients with both selling and buying property.

Chelsea Brown Callicott has joined Academy Mortgage in Bend as a loan officer. Callicott has a 22-year background in marketing communications. She has completed loan officer training and is now licensed to originate loans in Oregon.
