Mike and Mickey Freundlich, of Bend, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 23.

The couple were married Dec. 23, 1962, at Eden Rock Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla. They have three children, Marc, of Dallas, Mitchell (and Kristen) of Framingham, Mass., and Margey (and Honza) Vrbata, of Bend; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Freundlich was CEO of 5MPlus Inc. until his retirement in 2010. Mrs. Freundlich was a real estate broker until her retirement in 2010. She worked at W.G. Savage Realtors in Wayland, Mass., and N.B. Taylor Assoc. Inc., in Sudbury, Mass. The couple enjoy volunteering at St. Charles Bend, High Desert Museum and Children’s Vision Screening. They are members of Temple Beth Tikva, as well as Awbrey Glen Country Club, Widgi Creek Golf Club and Newcomers Club of Bend. They enjoy spending summers in Lake Garfield in Monterey, Mass., and volunteering at concerts in Lenox, Mass.

They have lived in Central Oregon for two years.
