Paul Stanley Schultz, age 94, was born October 20, 1918, Vallejo, CA, and died December 31, 2012, Hillsboro, OR. Paul served in the Pacific during WWII with the U.S. Navy Seabees. After the war, he lived and raised a family in Oakland, CA.

He worked 31 years for the Federal Civil Service as a public works painter and supervisor at the Oakland Naval Hospital.

First married and then widowed, by Rosemary (Kitty) Arthur for 25 years and then to Pearl Marie Donovan, also for 25 years. Paul retired to Bend, Oregon, for 33 years, where he was a lifetime member of Bend Elks Lodge #1371. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, dancing, golf gardening, cards and charity activities. He lived his final months in Hillsboro, OR, with his son.

He is survived by son, David P. Schultz of Hillsboro, OR; step daughters, Sandria Farley of Prineville, OR, Sharon Smith of Tulsa, OK, and Dana Taylor of Arvada, CO; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in Bend in the spring. An announcement will be made. Charitable donations to the Elks National Foundation.
