Painter Joanne Donaca’s “All About Oregon” is the featured exhibit in the Silent Reading Room at Redmond Public Library, 827 S.W. Deschutes Ave., Redmond.

An Oregon native, Donaca began winning art competitions in high school and has worked in many media, including pencil drawing, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and oil painting.

Donaca’s landscapes are known for their powerful imagery and bold brushwork. “The Cascade Range and the High Desert as well as the animals, natural beauty and diverse geography of both climates are ideal for painting and, of course, are a constant inspiration,” a press release announcing the show quotes her.

The show hangs through March.
