Two restaurant owners from Eugene have bought The Blacksmith restaurant, located at 211 N.W. Greenwood Ave. in Bend.

Todd and Nekol Bardwell, owners of The Bridge Bar and Grill, plan to reopen The Blacksmith in March, according to a news release from Fratzke Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Inc.

Nick Vaughn, a broker with Fratzke Commercial, said the essence of the restaurant will remain, but with a reduced nightclub atmosphere. He said the couple is currently repainting and cleaning up the Bend restaurant.
